“I sleep with my stepdaughter anytime my wife refuses me sex” – 30-year-old man
A 30- year-old man identified as Musa Abubakar, has confessed to defiling his 9-year-old stepdaughter in Rupokwu, Rivers State.
Musa Abubakar stated that he abuses the young girl anytime his wife refuses him sex.
The suspect, in confession to the crime at the State Criminal Investigation Department, claimed he indulged in the awful act because his wife always complains of tiredness anytime he wants sex.
According to the victim, her stepfather had been defiling her since she was 4 by sticking his finger in her private part. She said she was too afraid of telling her mother because she was seriously beaten the first time she told her.
She stated that she had to open up again after her mother assured her she would not be beaten.
The spokesperson of Rivers Police Command, Nnamdi Omoni, confirmed the incident and said that the law will take its course against the suspect.
