Ini Edo reappointed as special adviser to Governor Emmanuel
Nollywood actress, Ini Edo has been reappointed by Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State as special adviser on culture and tourism.
Ini Edo made the announcement via her Instagram page over the weekend where she wrote that her goal is to attain great feats in the new era.
She wrote:
“Grateful to God and my Boss, His excellency, Gov Udom Emmanuel for the reappointment to serve in the tourism sector of our dear State. I look forward to great accomplishment and milestones in this new era,” the actress wrote.
Ini Edo got her first appointment as Governor Emmanuel’s special adviser in 2016.
Since kicking off her professional acting career in 2003 with the movie Thick Madam, the University of Calabar English graduate has featured in over 100 Nollywood movies.
She was appointed United Nations Habitat Youth Envoy in 2014.
