The Internet has been hit with a shock as a popular couple on Instagram announce their divorce.
Nigerian US-based dancer, Korra Obidi with her American husband, Dr Justin Dean who is a Los Angeles-based chiropractor and sports therapist, has emerged as one of the beautiful couples online following how they share their love life and family stories online.
Just six days after the lovers went viral for welcoming their second child together through water birth at home, Dr Justin has come out to announce that he is divorcing the 27-year-old who is also a singer and an actress.
He wrote; Korra obidi and I are getting a divorce. It’s over” he wrote this on an Instagram post. Throwing light on the reason for the divorce, he added that “I won’t be treated this way. I did my absolute best to make it work”.
The American doctor shared a screenshot of his text on his Instagram feed with a caption that says “I didn’t want this. I did my best. My heart is broken. I supported her, I loved her. I don’t deserve the way I was treated”.
The post has come as a shock to fans of the lovers with many doubting it. Others suggested it is a prank but Dr Justin replied a comment on his post to say that “absolutely not a prank”. He later took to his Insta story to say that “not a joke”.
Korra Obidi has however remained silent on the breaking story as she has not posted anything on Instagram ever since her husband made the shocking announcement.
The lovers tied the knot on December 17, 2017, and got blessed with their first daughter on 9th July 2019.
Meanwhile, social media users continue to express shock and doubt over the story. Checks by dailygist tv also show that Dr Justin has removed the divorce post from his page.
Korra Obidi has now broken her silence as regards her marriage problems in a new video posted online. A video has made the rounds of the popular dancer finally speaking up after her husband, Justin Dean, announced that they were getting divorced.
In the video, Korra, who appeared to be calmer than her usual boisterous self, explained to fans that she was alright.
According to her, she is fully committed to taking care of her newborn daughter and also taking care of herself
In her words: “So I am going to be 100 percent committed to taking care of my newborn and myself. Because if mama is good, the baby is good.”
Korra Obidi was born in the year 1994 in Oshimili North of Delta State in Nigeria. She was born and raised in her hometown by her parents. She was raised in the church alongside her two siblings. By profession, she is a singer, actress, model, and dancer. To improve her talents and skills, she has already explored several countries.
Korra started her career at a very early age. She started it by singing and dancing in the church. However, her music career was started in October of 2015 when she released her first single named Man Like You. However, the biggest break in her career was the world cup song named Africa which was released in 2017. Also, she was number 4 in the Nigerian music list for her song Park well.
