Priyanka Chopra doesn’t think she is perfect wife material.
When on The View on Tuesday the 36-year-old India-born actress admitted she really doesn’t know how to cook.
But her husband Nick Jonas told her he didn’t care if she was bad in the kitchen because he is too.
‘He is from a good southern home where his mother made food, and I am not like that,’ said the Quantico actress.
She makes eggs and coffee and that’s about it. ‘I am a terrible wife in that sense.’
But the cover girl loved how he responded to her lack of culinary skills: ‘When I told him I can’t cook, he said, “Don’t worry babe, neither can I.”‘
Priyanka Chopra looked her usual stylish self when she stepped out in New York this afternoon.
The actress was decked out in a vibrant scarlet dress by Tom Ford, brilliantly clashed with fuchsia accessories.
Hailing from the brand’s AW11 collection, her dress incorporates a figure-hugging fit, statement ruching and frilled hem, creating an ultra-glamorous aesthetic.

She added most men are not like that and she appreciated his comment.
And then the cover girl said that she loves being Mrs Jonas: ‘Marriage feels so different, it’s like the family you choose,’ said the actress.
When The View stars first brought up their December 2018 wedding, Chopra admitted, ‘Yeah that happened quick,’
They had only been dating for a few months, but had known each other for years
They played the Jonas Brothers song Sucker for her.
And when the cast asked how she was cast in the music video alongside Kevin’s wife Danielle and Joe’s fiancee Sophie Turner.
‘It was actually just a dinner table conversation and we were taking about video girls and the boys looked around the table and looked at us and were like, “Look who we’re married to.” And that is how it came about,’ she said.
‘We shot over two days in a castle where The Favourite was shot,’ she added, saying they loved being in the posh atmosphere.
Chopra was asked about how she handles failure and turns out it’s with sugar.
‘I hate failure, nobody likes it, I eat a double ice cream when a movie fails, I am like anyone else. But you have to indulge yourself.’
She then said,’Failure teaches you.’
Priyanka then said that her parents were ‘overachievers.’
‘I wanted to grow into that but my parents taught me to fail to learn, there is always a plan B,’ she said.
Chopra then said that there are so many ways to succeed today: ‘We have an option in a digital world today to create options for ourselves.’
She also said people can sit in their garage and think of an app that will make them a living.
Joy then threw in a lot of people don’t have a brain to create an app.
Chopra shot back that ideas are what matter and the audience applauded her.
