Reading & Leeds Festivals To Go Ahead This August
Organisers of the Reading and Leeds festivals have confirmed the events will go ahead later on this summer.
Taking to Twitter, the organisers wrote: “Following the government’s recent announcement, we can’t wait to get back to the fields this summer. LET’S GO.”
Confirmation of 2021 Reading & Leeds Fest comes after Boris Johnson announced his roadmap for easing lockdown in England on Monday, revealing his plans to remove all legal limits on social contact by June 21st.
Due to take place between 27th-29th August, Reading & Leeds Festival will see the likes of Stormzy, Post Malone, AJ Tracey, KSI, DaBaby and many more grace the stages of the twin events.
Last may, like many other events, the two festivals were cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic but it looks like it’s back to regular programming this year.
