Three men were injured in a suspected triple shooting in an east London street on Saturday night. The victims, believed to be 23, 28 and 30, were taken to hospital in life-threatening conditions after paramedics were called to the scene at around 8.50pm. Scotland Yard said all three suffered gunshot wounds in the incident on Leyton High Road. A Metropolitan Police spokesman said the men were treated by paramedics before being taken to hospital.
A Met spokesman said: ‘Police were called on Saturday, May 4, at 8.50pm to reports of shots fired in Leyton High Road. ‘Local officers and armed officers attended. ‘Three men – aged 23, 28 and 30 – were found suffering from gunshot injuries.
‘They were treated by paramedics at the scene.’ A Section 60 order has been put in place, which allows officers to stop and search anyone in the area. Police said that no arrests have yet been made and enquiries are ongoing.
